Sales Representative

Job Summary
As a Sales Representative you will work directly with customers to capture sales opportunities. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers over the phone, selling solutions and keeping them apprised of new product and service introduction. Furthermore, you will have a close working relationship with the sales teams from the Distributors/VAR’s. You will also play an important role in the sales campaign, through partner motivation and channel management.
Essential functions
- Deliver against achievable revenue goals,
- Management of existing Channel Partners,
- Identification and recruitment of new Distributors, VAR’s, Systems Integrators who have the skills, expertise, experience and market positioning to be valuable channel partners for Open-E,
- Develop new direct selling opportunities,
- Work closely with the Distributors and their VAR’s to ensure they successfully develop their relationships with their major customers,
- Schedule and attend sales call appointments with new partners,
- Identify proper entitlements, uplifts and technical education needs.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of experience within the IT Industry, with demonstrated expertise in technical specifications required to sell product and services,
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets,
- Experience in and understanding of the role of Distributors, VAR’s, Systems Integrators and Consultants,
- Ability to empathize with both the Channel partners and the direct sales teams and adopt a disciplined, entrepreneurial approach to achieve the company’s goals and objectives and to capitalize on and exploit market opportunities,
- Have a professional sales approach and the ability to negotiate comfortably and effectively at all levels,
- Ability to convey information clearly and analysis as needed to help customer make buying decisions,
- Have strong communication skills enabling them to sell themselves and their enthusiasm for the company to users, prospects and third parties,
- Presentation skills,
- Native English,
- Hired person will have an above average work rate and an ability to withstand stress, coupled with a personal drive to “get things done”,
- Possess integrity and tenacity of the highest order,
- An appropriate degree or qualification together with technical, sales and management training,
- Have well developed work and business planning skills, coupled with flair and vision.
