Upgrade NAS-R3 to DSS - description

License Key - upgrade NAS-R3 to DSS extends Network-Attached Storage (NAS) functionality of your product with additional Storage Area Network (SAN) functions , creating real Data Storage Server.

Only one reboot is required, limiting downtime, administration overshot and total costs of ownership (TCO). All features included in the original DSS will be available after the product update, including:
  • iSCSI target support
  • session management for iSCSI protocol
  • connection status
  • CHAP user management
  • block level synchronous replication
