Minimum hardware requirements and recommendations

Use your software and hardware efficiently

For an efficient usage of Open-E JovianDSS software with your existing or designated hardware components, follow our minimum requirements for single node or High Availability Cluster setups. Keep in mind that those requirements allow running all functions separately with a limited number of clients or users.

On the Open-E website, find detailed specifications for: 

• iSCSI / NAS storage with 100TB raw disk capacity (single node)
• iSCSI / NAS storage with 100TB usable capacity and deduplication (single node)
• iSCSI / NAS HA storage cluster with 100TB raw disk capacity
• iSCSI / NAS storage with 2PB raw disk capacity (single node)
• iSCSI / NAS HA storage cluster with 2PB raw disk capacity
