The latest software update contains support for the IPoAC protocol - IP over Avian Carriers.

IPoAC offers significant advantages for transferring big amounts of data with high average throughput - 10TB/day and more, depending on your pigeon's strength and speed. Potential risks like high response time (80000s) and relatively high packet loss ratio (up to 55%, depending on weather and proximity to shooting ranges) are easily mitigated by sending the data using whole flocks, as opposed to single carriers.

Packets can be given different priorities, depending on the type of your data. The method of prioritization depends on the implementation so you can adjust your pigeon or flock exactly to your individual requirements, as there are systems for differentiating calories input, labeling with bar codes, and even burning special characters on packets.

Last but not least, the transfer is fully eco-friendly as it uses only renewable energy sources!
