Open-E JovianDSS

As Open-E JovianDSS is based in the ZFS file system, this calculator helps you to figure out the required license for your pools and their groups - either data or non-data groups. Pick your redundancy level, the number of disks in a group, the number of groups and the size of each disk. With this information you will receive the total necessary license capacity. Note that those results are shown for single pools only!

Open-E DSS V7

The Open-E Open-E DSS V7 / DSS V7 SOHO calculator shows you how much space will be available in a specific RAID configuration, based on the number of drives and their size. Simply select the product for which the RAID array will be used, the RAID type, minimum HDD capacity, number of HDDs and RAID level. The calculator will then provide you with the available space and required license capacity.

NOTE: Disk space is shown in 2^40 bytes units, the same way as operating systems calculate it. Hard drive manufacturers use 10^12 bytes units based on the Required License Capacity.
