We would like to remind you once again that next year in November, one of our previous flagship products - Open-E DSS V7 - is going to meet its end. We have been offering this XFS-based data storage solution for more than 10 years, but now we have made the decision to stop supporting
Open-E DSS V7 and focus on our Open-E JovianDSS product line, which will be improved and extended!

The official Open-E DSS V7 End-Of-Life Announcement will be published on November 1st, 2023. To help you prepare for this transition, we have decided to inform you in advance about our plans, and we also prepared a short summary of the process stages for you and your customers.

• November 1st, 2023: On this date, we will officially inform all the customers about the
  Open-E DSS V7 planned EOL. The product will still be available for one year after that.
• Q4, 2023: In Q4 2023, there will be the last Open-E DSS V7 software update, Up75. After that, no further updates will be provided.
• October 30th, 2024: This will be the last order date (LOD) for Open-E DSS V7 licenses and support renewals. After this date, you cannot purchase or renew any licenses or support contracts for Open-E DSS V7.
• November 1st, 2024: This will be the end of life (EOL) date for Open-E DSS V7. Customers can use the existing product and support licenses until they expire, but they cannot extend them.

If any of your customers are interested in transitioning from Open-E DSS V7 to Open-E JovianDSS, contact your Open-E Sales Representative for a personalized offer that will include:

• A preferential licensing model that allows you to transfer the licenses to the new product at a discounted price.
• Additional upgrade support for hardware and system architecture. We will help in choosing the best configuration and design for the new data storage solution.
