Enhanced iSCSI Target Management

Greater Control with Open-E JovianDSS Up31

Open-E JovianDSS now offers the ability to manage iSCSI targets through specific Virtual IPs (VIPs). This feature provides greater flexibility and control over network traffic, ensuring efficient management and access to iSCSI targets. By assigning a virtual IP to a given iSCSI target, your clients can now limit access to only the designated network interface.

Secured Access to iSCSI Targets

The new VIP-based target visibility feature allows iSCSI targets to be accessed through designated virtual IP addresses. Based on the configuration, unauthorized users will either be unable to view the target or prevented from establishing a connection.
