With approx. 520,000 members, KRAFTFAHRER-SCHUTZ e.V. is the third largest Automobile Association in Germany. The company offers transportation and legal insurance services. KRAFTFAHRER-SCHUTZ operates its own data center based on VMware over two fire protection zones. When the hardware reached the end of its life cycle, the company decided for an active-active iSCSI cluster solution with Open-E DSS V7 provided by Open-E Partner EUROstor from Germany.
