We have a new case study for you! Read more about our Dutch customer VDB Automatisering, who set up an active-active cluster with Open-E DSS V7 for his hosting services.

Open-E and VDB Automatisering:
A cost-effective hosted SAN solution
As an ICT company, VDB Automatisering is delivering products and services to SMB customers. Providing hosted solutions from their own data center for rent is a growing part of their business.

For the customer-specific terminal servers and application servers, VDB Automatisering was looking for a redundant SAN solution without any single point of failure in the central infrastructure. When testing Open-E DSS V7, the setup showed almost the same performance as local SAS disks - at the same time providing a consistent failover mechanism as well as limited downtime during maintenance.

Overall, VDB Automatisering was able to benefit from the great stability, performance and the limited costs of the Open-E DSS V7 solution.
