Two
weeks ago we held another of our comprehensive Open-E Certified
Engineer (OECE) Trainings - a training program dedicated for partners.
This time, participating IT engineers learned about our new ZFS-based
software: Open-E
JovianDSS
Our training program is an opportunity for
partners and
their engineers to gain necessary skills for Open-E’s
advanced
storage software JovianDSS. This way, we can ensure the high quality
support that customers expect from Open-E.

Certification
as an OECE verifies that an engineer can easily implement the product
in complex IT environments and demonstrates the ability to work with
Open-E JovianDSS, i.e.:
- iSCSI Targets and Snapshots
- Tiered storage and optimal hardware components
- Data integrity, storage arrays and redundancy
levels
- Scaling and performance
- Thick and Thin Provisioning
- Multiple-pool storage, CLI and LM-sensors
