Today we're sending a quick reminder about our upgrade promotion. If you have customers that are still using Open-E DSS V6 - they now have a chance to upgrade their license to Open-E DSS V7 for 50% off.

If your customers upgrade their existing Open-E DSS V6 license to the full Open-E DSS V7 they will get 50% discount. With this software version, they are able to use the latest and enhanced features:

When your customers upgrade from Open-E DSS V6 to V7 the whole capacity must be upgraded incl. all storage extensions. Example: Open-E DSS V6 8TB + 2TB Storage extension = upgrade to Open-E DSS V7 for 10TB. Also, remember that Open-E DSS V7 does not support NAS (NFS) Failover.
