Failure-resistance and great scalability

An  Open-E JovianDSS  HA Cluster with multiple JBODs is a typical cluster setup where the communication and data transfer are based on two server heads connected to a common storage with one or more redundant JBODs. Depending on what kind of performance, availability, flexibility and costs are demanded, such a cluster can be set up by means of a SAS connection or with FC. This type of clustering prevents Single Points of Failure as the drives are mirrored between JBODs.

Cluster setup

In order to set up a HA Cluster with multiple JBODs over SAS or FC, it is required to purchase the Open-E JovianDSS Standard HA Cluster Feature Pack . Order it quickly, as only until July 31, 2017 you can purchase it at half the price. That's a bargain!
