An  Open-E JovianDSS  HA Cluster with multiple JBODs is a typical cluster setup where the communication and data transfer are based on two server heads connected to a common storage with one or more redundant JBODs. Depending on what kind of performance, availability, flexibility and costs are demanded, such a cluster can be set up by means of a SAS connection or with FC. This type of clustering prevents Single Points of Failure as the drives are mirrored between JBODs.
