Open-E Certifies Intel® Optane™ P1600X and P5800X

After Thorough Testing, New Intel® Optane™ SSDs are Now Officially Certified 

Open-E has now officially certified the Intel® Optane™ P1600X and P5800X SSDs. This move further strengthens Open-E JovianDSS’ position as a flexible, hardware-agnostic storage solution capable of hosting a wide array of different hardware setups.

Challenges to Overcome

To become certified, the SSDs had to overcome a plethora of both functional and performance-based tests that ensured Open-E JovianDSS’ high standards were met, if not exceeded. The SSDs were tested in a variety of positions.
