Open-E NAS SOHO is Network Attached Storage (NAS) software for quickly and flexibly expanding storage capacity in smaller networks (about five clients). Thanks to its simple architecture - in principle, SOHO is a flash memory with IDE interface and Open-E NAS as operating system - you can add storage quickly, easily and, most importantly, cost-efficiently to your existing network.
You no longer need expensive hardware to do so. Take any type of computer, a new rack server or an old desktop PC, and exchange the system drive for the Open-E NAS flash module. Within a few minutes, you will have up to several hundred gigabytes available on your network - without much effort and any downtime.
That's why the SOHO version is the ideal solution for everyone wanting to add additional storage to existing networks quickly, seamlessly and cost-efficiently.
SOHO is for you!

To initially operate SOHO, you just need to assign an IP address in the network through an existing DHCP server. Another option: manually assign a set IP address. All other settings can be handled via a Web-based Graphical User Interface (GUI), which can easily be accessed from the IP address of Open-E NAS SOHO.

Which advantages does Open-E NAS SOHO provide?

It's easy to use: Open-E NAS SOHO can be installed easily and quickly. Also, it is easy to administer.
