Open-E JovianDSS can now be set up as a Virtual Machine (VM) within Proxmox, providing better integration and streamlined operations. This improvement facilitates the activation of Open-E JovianDSS on Proxmox, making it easier to manage and utilize and ensures that our users have a versatile, secure, and easy-to-manage data storage solution that adapts to their needs.
In response to customer feedback and evolving data storage network needs, Open-E JovianDSS now supports separate management of iSCSI targets through specific Virtual IPs (VIPs). This enhancement allows for greater flexibility and control over network traffic, ensuring that iSCSI targets can be efficiently managed and accessed.
Security is a top priority for us, and we are pleased to announce that Open-E JovianDSS Up31 now supports Self-Encrypting Drives (SEDs) from Micron, specifically the Micron 540 series. It ensures your data is encrypted at the hardware level, providing robust protection against unauthorized access and enhancing overall data security.
