Open-E at CeBIT 2015

Once again, we took part in the world’s largest IT tradeshow – CeBIT. This year’s lead theme was Digital Transformation – d!conomy, and together with 3,300 exhibitors from 70 nations we spent five inspirational days in Hanover, Germany. Here’s the scoop.

Showcasing new features of Open-E JovianDSS

Apart from our proven storage solutions, we were presenting a set of new features for software-defined storage Open-E JovianDSS. The product now includes:

High Availability for NAS and iSCSI
Asynchronous replication
Unlimited snapshots and clones

Live software demos and daily prize draws

Visitors had a chance to view live demonstrations of Open-E software and discuss individual storage solutions. Every evening we held a prize draw for a 4TB license of Open-E DSSV7.

Meetings with our partners and customers

At our booth located in the Hall 2 we were happy to welcome many visitors from all over the world. We had in-depth meetings with partners like starline, EUROstor and Abraxax from Germany, AlphaSonic from Hungary, as well as with partners coming from very far away, like AFRITEC from South Africa. We also gained media attention and had the pleasure of meeting with IT-BUSINESS, Heise and many more.

Presentation of Open-E DSS V7 with Avago Syncro® Solution

Our Technology Partner Avago was exhibiting in Planet Reseller, Hall 15. With our joined solution Open-E DSS V7 with Avago Syncro® Solution you are able to create active-active cluster setups with Fibre Channel or iSCSI Shared Storage.
