Job Summary

Open-E, Inc. is a pioneering leader and developer of IP-based storage management software with headquarters in the United States and Europe.  As a Product Manager you will be responsible for product development and planning. You will identify target customer needs and working with the programming team guide development to meet those needs.  This challenging position provides extraordinary opportunities to work closely with storage management software experts.

Essential Functions

• Maintain the product release plan based on product roadmap and make decisions concerning entire life cycle of the product
• Close collaboration with highly-qualified software programmers to capture and deliver expected product requirements
• Define product vision and strategy based on market data and present trends on the storage marketplace
• Conduct market research and customer/user expectations analysis
• Flexibly react to the essential changes and dynamic modifications made as the  programming team prioritizes actions
• Define and approve product documentation including all necessary procedures and details

Requirements

• Excellent understanding of the storage market business and current trends
• Strong IT background and excellent understanding how storage products and solutions work
• Demonstrated ability to manage and evaluate a professional software programming team (especially in requirements management area)
•  Wide experience in IT project management and international collaboration
• Strong results orientation and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Can-do attitude and excellent relationship building skills
