BRANDGUARDIAN is a global provider of solutions for brand management. Their products allows companies to achieve a good marketing material flow, ensuring that the communication is coherent. It also supports business growth by allowing you to create different materials for different regions while maintaining a specific style.
The goal of implementation for BRANDGUARDIAN was to build an additional data storage appliance that would support already existing system. The new solution had to include the following features:

Challenges
BRANDGUARDIAN wanted a new system to be set up alongside their already existing solution to fulfill the growing needs of their business. Therefore they needed additional software capabilities compared to Open-E DSS V7.

Solution
Implementation of the new data storage setup based on Open-E JovianDSS offered an enhanced version of options already available in Open-E DSS V7, like the number of snapshots that can be taken - increased from 20 in V7 to unlimited in Open-E JovianDSS. On the other hand, it added many new features that increased data storage reliability, the most crucial being Open-E JovianDSS On- & Off-Site Data Protection.
Achieved Result
Adding an extra data storage setup based on the newest Open-E software, raised the reliability of the data storage. Increasing the maximum number of snapshots enhanced data storage immunity to ransomware attacks, and High Availability provided a totally new layer of data protection. Additionally, deduplication offered the company with the possibility to save some space by having control over repetitive data on the storage.
