Yes, all you need to do is download the latest version of Open-E DSS V7 SOHO from our website. Your current Lite version will automatically change to a 2TB SOHO. Then you generate a new product key in your Portal, type it in and the capacity will be increased to 4TB.


Can I set up High Availability storage with Open-E DSS V7 SOHO?

As Open-E DSS V7 SOHO includes basic functionalities of Open-E DSS V7 only, High Availability is not available in the software.


What if I require a storage size higher than 36TB?

As this is the maximum amount of storage you can manage with Open-E DSS V7 SOHO, you will need to purchase a full Open-E DSS V7 license.
