Open-E JovianDSS supports iSCSI, FC and NFS, SMB (CIFS) protocols.
With Open-E JovianDSS you can set up High Availability Clusters with Ethernet, SAS or Fibre Channel connections. The Standard HA Cluster Feature Pack enables High Availability for two server nodes connected to a single storage or one (or more) JBOD(s). The Advanced Metro HA Cluster Feature Pack enables you to create High Availability for two server nodes with storage at each location (Dual Storage) mirrored over Ethernet (up to 50 miles / 80km). It also supports configurations of the Open-E JovianDSS Standard HA Cluster Feature Pack.
Thanks to the ZFS technology, the software offers a lot of features which are required by users who manage enterprise-sized storage environments and look for a high-quality solution at a reasonable price-performance ratio.
